Mr. Louis Bourquin, Sr. second from left, was honored on Saturday, September 25th for his 40 years service with the Salvation Army.  Among those in attendance, were from left to right, Lieut. Don Oakley, Mr. Bourquin, Colonel Simester, Mrs., Oakley, and Brigadier Reg Hollman.

 Mr. Louis Bourquin Sr. was honored Saturday the 25th of September, for his 40 years of dedicated service with the Salvation Army.  The luncheon held in the Salvation Army Church was highlighted by the attendance of Toronto based Colonel Simester, Field Secretary of the S.A. in charge of all Corps (Churches and Evangelical) in Canada and Bermuda.  Also at the function were Brigadier Reg Hollman, Division Commander of Sask.., Lieut. Don Oakley of the Estevan Corps, and the members of the Bourquin family and friends. 

Mr. Bourquin joined the Salvation Army in 1931 and has served in the Estevan Corps throughout his career, during which time he has held the posts of Treasurer, and later, Sergeant Major.
